A closer look

This personal poolside collection combines lifestyle portraits of me by William Thomason with product-detail photography by me. The shared setting connects the two viewpoints.

What connects the photographs

The water and pool edge give the portraits their setting. The sunscreen, body mist, lip care and sunglasses form a still-life detail that can sit alongside the lifestyle images without changing their authorship.

Inside the images

Three things to notice

01

The water establishes the visual mood across the set.

02

William Thomason’s portraits bring the person into that setting.

03

My poolside product photograph shows the objects as part of the same experience.

How this approach could work for you

For a lifestyle project, I would define the roles and the balance of people, setting and product before a shoot so each part of the collection has a clear purpose.

Before a session, we can talk through what you need the photographs to communicate, where they will be used and the moments that matter most. From there, we can shape a shot list and a pace that fit the project.
